Ngong Ping 360 Standard vs Crystal vs Crystal+

All three get you between Tung Chung and Ngong Ping. The difference is how much glass surrounds you—and how much you want to spend on the experience.

Which cabin should you choose?

Crystal Glass floor

Adds a transparent floor so you can look directly down during the journey. It is the middle ground between Standard and Crystal+.

Crystal+ Premium

Uses extensive transparent glazing for a more immersive view around and beneath the cabin. This is the experience-focused choice.

Is Crystal worth the extra cost?

At published adult return prices, Crystal costs HK$365 versus HK$295 for Standard. The HK$70 difference is paying for the glass-floor experience rather than a faster journey. If you enjoy heights and photography, the upgrade can be worthwhile.

Is Crystal+ worth it?

Crystal+ is substantially more expensive and is best treated as an attraction upgrade. A useful compromise is to take Crystal+ in one direction and Standard in the other, rather than paying for Crystal+ both ways.

Do the cabins take different routes?

No. The cabin choices use the same Ngong Ping cable car system between Tung Chung and Ngong Ping. The ride is approximately 25 minutes.

What if you are uncomfortable with heights?

Standard is likely the easier choice because it does not add a transparent floor. Crystal and Crystal+ intentionally increase the sensation of height.
